Ken and Paul,
I just sent you an email, but found this post in a search.I wish I had seen this before!
That is my Ruggles line.
It starts with George Ruggles, goes through a few Johns and when you get to Isaac, I am about the only person researching this particular Isaac Ruggles. (there was another from the Roxbury, Mass. Ruggles line, but that is a different line)
This line started out in Boston, in Braintree. They later lived in Westborough, Mass. Then they moved to Rutland, VT. and George Ruggles from England is probably the first of this line in America. My line goes from George through John Ruggles - born 31 Oct 1637 (m. Rebecca Farnsworth), John Ruggles - born 2 Feb 1663 (m. Mercy or Mary Veazy), John Ruggles - born 5 Sep 1696 (m. 1. Rachel & 2. Sarah), John Ruggles - born 3 Mar 1723/24, died 1802 (m. Elizabeth Eaton), Isaac Ruggles - born 25 Mar 1758, died 1840 (m. 1. Hepzibeth Parker, 2. Mary W. Langdon), Draper Ruggles, born 1801, died 1873 (m. Nancy M. Corbett), Isaac Draper Ruggles, born 1823, died 1907 (married Catherine G. Crawford) Isaac Draper Ruggles moved west and settled in Illinois in the late 1850s. His son, Edward Appleton Ruggles was my great-grandfather.
I hope you either still have the bible or can tell me where it is.
Thanks.
DeeDee
