I am seeking more information about the connections of family of Demetrius Maltrevers Rumph to mine.
My great aunt, Sallie Eugenia Morgan, married Robert Ross Darrah in 1918.Mr. Darrah had 2 daughters by his deceased first wife, one of which, Elizabeth Ann, married Dr. Demetrius M. Rumph ("Mal").
I "connected some dots" yesterday in researching these marriages even further and realized that Aunt Sallie's mother, Margaret Viola Knighton Morgan, was the 1/2 sister to Dr. Mal's mother, Eliza Ann Butts.
These intertwined families - Morgan, Knighton, Rumph, Butts, are intriging me and may hold the clues so some of my "brick walls" in locating more information on my Morgan and Knighton families.
I would love to correspond with you and see if we have information to exchange. And I invite you to visit the Morgan-Knighton Kith 'n Kin blog and become a part of the blog team if you are interested in sharing your research.
