Sandra,
I have a Mary Runion (ggg grandmother) that is buried in the Bessmer City Cemetery. She was a Beason before she married Jim (?) Runion. I got this information from her daughter's death certificate.

The tombstone reads
Mary Runion
Mother of E.J. Medlin
Born May 9, 1836
Died Feb 9, 1907
Aged 71 yrs, 3 months

Is this the same as your Mary Beason Runion?
