That is the right family but George and Nan are supposedly buried in the Tinker #1 cemetary in Ernestville, Unicoi, Co. TN. I am trying despertly to link George Samuel with Mary Ann Tinker, she must have given birth to him and a sister after William Esquire Runion was killed in the civil war in abt 1863. I found her on a couple of census with George and William and Margaret in the home and she was head of household, if this is the right Mary. On some other records I found, Mary Ann Tinker would have only been nine years old when she married William Esquire and she would have been 13 or 14 when she gave birth to her first child, William Samuel Runnion. That just did not sound right to me but I guess it was possible. I have her in one instance being born 1842 and another 1831. I wish I could verify that she was married to William Esquire Runnion and he was killed later than 1863 so my George would be his son. If not, I guess I will never know who his father was although he carries the name Runnion. If he is the descendant of Sarah Runnion who married a Runnion but no one knows who that Runnion was, I am in bigger trouble tryint to locate Ancestors. Can you help me at all with any other information?
