Hi there,
I did not recieve any thing from you but I think we had a brief correspondance. Were you going to visit a son in VA.?
I think you told me you would get back to me after your visit but I did not hear from you again until now.
It is really hard remembering who we talked to and who we have sent things to isn't it?
Anyway, I am trying to find the Sarah who was the mother of William Squire Runion who married Mary Ann Tinker. All I have been able to find is that his mother was supposedly a Runion who married a Runion but no one knows the fathers first name. There are notes declaring that Sarah's lineage as a Runion has not been proved so I am completely at a stand still and I have been asking for any information to help me solve this problem of just who Sarah, b 1805, was and who the father of William Squire was. I had contacted you in reference to finding my ggfather George Samuel Runnion. I did find he is the son of William Squire (or Esquire) Runion. He was born after William Squire Runion was imprisioned in 1863. My George was born 1868 and his sister Levinia after that. I hope to think that William Esquire was released from prison and went home to sire George and Levinia. If not, I am a dead duck and all my Runions are not Runions and God would only know who Mary Ann Tinker had my George and his sister by. They were both given the name of Runion so I am assuming until I find the hard core evidence I need, that they were sired by William Squire. It is just crucial to my research that I find out the facts about Sarah Runnion. If you have any information please share with me and I will be so grateful.
Thanks you
Linda Lee Vickers (Runion)
