Hi cousin,
You have a mixture of good and innacurate information.
1: Martha Ella Sours was Casper's 2nd wife. He was 1st m. to Sallie A. Custer with whom he had 2 children. She died in 1910.
2: The father of Leannah Farney is unknown.
3: The wife of John Runyon was simply Anne Goodpasture - not Anna Elizabeth as posted at the LDS website. The person who supplied that information got carried away. I have the original submission from the person who did it and I have checked it thoroughly.
4: John Runyon was not the son of Peter Runyon & Providence Blackford. John was born sometime between 1735 and 1740 - at which time Providence was no longer having children. John's father is unknown.
5: Vincent Runyon's (Rougnon) wife was Anne Boutcher d/o John Boutcher of Hartford, England. When Vincent died his wife was Martha but no one knows if this was the same wife as Anne.
6: Vincent's father is unknown. The Henri (Henry) whom some people list as his father was not born until around 1680. Henri was Henri Regnon of the town of Chaligny whereas Vincent Rougnon was from Poitiers. People like to claim Henri because he was promoted to nobility and given a Coat of Arms by the king of France for service in war to the king. Henri received this in the year 1700 and he then married and began to have his family - totally unrelated to Vincent.

I am descended from John Runyon, Jr. - the executor of the estate of John Runyon, Sr. in 1830. I have partial records of that estate handed down through my branch of the family.

I have a Runyon Genealogy website at Please take the opportunity to visit my site and to contact me directly.
Thank you for your interest in our family.
