My piece of the English Ruscoe jigsaw

My maternal grandmother was Alice Emma Ruscoe (16 March 1885- May 1959) who was born in Wem, Shropshire, England and died in Chester, Cheshire.
Her father was a farmer called Thomas Ruscoe (6 January 1842 in Llansantffraid,Montgomery & Denbigh, Wales - 30 December 1918 in Offley Hay, Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England) who married Maria Thomas (c.1848 - 7 March 1927) in 1868.
Thomas was in turn the son of another farmer, Richard Ruscoe (and his mother was Margaret Ruscoe, formerly Evans).

Alice had a number of brothers and sisters many of whom I understand died young.

Does this fit in with anyone else's research?
