I've been in email contact with John who turns out to be my 2nd cousin once removed. My great-grandfather THOMAS RUSCOE (1842-1918) is his great-great-grandfather. His great-grandfather was my grandmother's brother, his grandfather was my mother's cousin and his mother is my 2nd cousin. This site really works!
