Been trying to figure out this Ruscoe line. I photostated some pages from NORWALK by Rev. CharlesM. Selleck, A.M. written in 1896. Going by that, it looks like the following:

John Rusco had
Thomas Rusco who had
Theophilus who married Mary and had:
Theophilus 2nd who was baptised Sept. 25, 1743. He married Abigail March 30, 1763. Abigail was born in 1742 and was the daughter of Ebenezer and Abigail Bouton. They had:
Louis (that's what the book says - your Lois certainly makes more sense!) married Andrew Bishop
Theophilus 3rd who was born Nov. 28, 1769 and married Sarah Dean born April 3, 1763
Gamaliel born 1779
Hezekiah born July 21, 1782

Theophilus and Sarah were married Jan. 1, 1793 they had
Ezra born Oct. 17, 1793 and died April 11, 1809

Gamaliel married ?
they had
Abigail who married Henry Hoyt son of Peter Hoyt

Nancy married Simeon Rusco and had
John B.

Hezekiah married Sally Dean (Hezekiah's cousin) they had:
Mary Esther born Sept. 11, 1821
Silas B. born March 21, 1823 and died 1894
Abigail Ann born July 28, 1825 married my Sylvester Scofield, my great-great grandfather
Cyrus F. born april 11, 1828 married Olive Knapp
Jeremiah B.
Harrison D.
Nancy N. born 1842

From another Ruscoe researcher, there's a Hezekiah 1783-1863 - buried in Beck Hill Cemetery in Lewisbor, NY and also Sally Dean 1799-1889.

Some of these dates certainly don't fit in. The next time I'm in the area, will check out the cemetery for myself.

The other interesting thing is that while the Ruscoe line is MY line, the Bouton line is my hubby's! His great-great grandmother's maiden name was Rhoda H. Boughton (Bouton). She married Benjamin S. White. I assume Abigail would have been a great-great-great (great?) aunt. There's also Northrup's in the Bouton line. I also have Northrup's in mine. Guess that happened a lot when people came from the same general area.

If you don't have or are not familiar with the Selleck book, I would be happy to mail copies to you. I just noticed that a Stephen Rusco married on Sept. 29, 1763 a Ruth, daughter of Eleazer and Elizabeth Bouton. Isn't this fun?!
