I don't know if this will be of any help, but I couldn't resist writing. My grandparents, George I and Grace Adams Ruscoe of Pound Ridge, NY had a very close friend, Docia (not sure of the spelling) Pardee. I didn't know her well at all as we never lived close to them. But your post made me think of Docia. (pronounced Dosha). Jeanne
