I have been researching my grandfather Charles Doyle Roscoe's ancestry for awhile now and know of at least one Rusco-Warren connection in his line. It is through his great-grandmother, Nancy Corbin (b. 1783 in CT) who married Russel Rusco (b. 1779 in CT). --My line changed the spelling of the name from "Rusco" to "Rosco" and finally to "Roscoe" in the 1800s.--

The line goes as follows:

Charles D. Roscoe>David A. Rosco>Nancy Corbin>Mercy Harlow>William Harlow>William Harlow>Samuel Harlow>Rebecca Bartlett>Mary Warren>Richard Warren.

Charles D. Roscoe had nine siblings many of whom married spouses from old New England (including southern Long Island!)lines. I have not been able to identify the parents of Russel Rusco but suspect they were among the refugees from eastern Long Island who fled to Connecticut during the Rev War. Russel was born in CT in the midst of the war but I have not been able to find out where.

He appears with his family on the 1840 Frankfort, Herkimer County, New York census. In records for the town of Winfield, just south of Frankfort and heavily settled by New Englanders after the war, I found a brief reference to deacons "Rosco" and "Ferguson" in the Baptist church there. This caught my attention because Russel Rusco and his first three children are all buried in the Ferguson Cemetery in Frankfort, NY. There must be some connection between the Ferguson's and the Rusco's but I haven't found it yet. Perhaps you can provide a piece. ??

BTW: The person inquiring about the Tom Thumb connection also descends from this Rusco line-though I believe the Tom Thumb connection may be on her Fuller side. Still, if we gather enough pieces, some kind of clearer picture may emerge1
