The 1860 US Census for Champlain, NY, lists a John Rushlow, age 25, wife Sophie (20) and sons John (5), Joseph (3) and Moses (1). John was born in Canada, all the others in New York State. Except for the wifeís name, itís very close to your listing. This is not my Rushlow line, so I did not pursue. (My John Rushlow born May 1822 in Germany.)
