Hi Kelly:

The "Violet Rushlow" you mention is my great aunt, she is the daughter of Alexander and Martha Jane Rushlow of Belleville ON. I have come across Jane's name in my research, Shirley Farone told me about her. I haven't made the connection as what Jane was to my great grandfather, his sister or aunt. Alexander was born in the U.S in 1853, his father was born in Quebec, his father's name on Alexander's death registration was Alexander (but I have reason to believe that this information may be wrong). I think Joseph Rushlow of Clayton NY may be his father, I just haven't found the proof yet. If you would like to discuss this further, please email me at
