CSA Soldier William Ruskell

I am researching a Confederate soldier, William Ruskell or Ruskill, possibly from Virginia, who enlisted in the "second" Co. A of the 46th Virginia Infantry Regiment. His unit moved to the Charleston, SC, area in 1862 after service in Virginia, and he was detailed to the signal service in Charleston area 1862-'63 or so, appointed Signal Sergeant in Feb 1864, after which I have no information. I am attempting to learn more about him as a person (birthplace, dates, parents, occupation, family, education, an image) and would appreciate any leads.
