i didn't think to check what the numbers may have meant, that may indeed be a clue! i think though, that the city you're talking about is Sydney, Nova Scotia, their destination. However, i haven't looked for any info in Sydney yet....perhaps another clue as well. Thank you for your insight, sometimes i tend to miss the forest for the trees! i'm also looking further into Anany's military service, i spotted some more information on his registration card that i had missed before, so hopefully something new will turn up soon. Thank you so much for your help, i really appreciate it!
