Hi. I am searching on behalf of a friend. Her mother's name was Vera Rommers (1909 Riga - 1963 Australia). Her mother's mother was Helena Plocens (1879 Riga? - 1965 Australia). Vera Rommers Lutkevics had a brother, Adam Rommers who disappeared during WWII and my friend is trying to find out what happened to him and his family as they were Jewish.
(Vera and Adam Rommers were the children of Sergejs and Helena Rommers nee Plocens). Vera was born in Pskov, Russia (Pleskava) and it is presumed that her brother Adam was born there as well.
My friend has applied to the Latvian Consulate in Pskov but had no response.
Any help would be gratefully received.
