The Russian Empire lost a lot of European territory between 1917-1922. Russia controlled about half of historic Poland from 1772-1922.
If you want to find records you have to know where the hometown of these folks has ended up. Without an EXACT location you are dead in the water. One way to help determine this is to determine ethnicity. Look at the US census and see what they state for "mother tongue".
One peculiarity is the name "Ferenc" (it has no "e"). Ferenc is the Hungarian equivalent of "Francis". And Bagnick is an americanization. It should be BAGNIK.
If I had to guess I would place these folks as coming from Southern Poland.
It would help to know the religion of these folks. If they were Greek Catholic that may answer a lot of speculation.Whatever their religious affiliation the records of them at the church they attended may be a good source of details about them. Church records back then tended to contain a lot more stuff.
