Kathleen, I am interested in John Russom and Johannah Neale. Mary has indicated that William B. Russom's father may have married a Charokee Indian. William B. is my great grandfather. I went to Carnesville, Georgia this summer to the cemetery at Liberty Baptist Church. William B. along with some other Russom's were charter members of the church. I met the secretary of the church and asked if she would look in the old records of the church to see if I could find out who his father and mother were. The pastor of the church said that the records were so old that they were falling apart and did not want to open them. I feel like there is a connection to John Russom as William B. named one of his sons John Thomas. He was my grandfather. I thought at one time that Jessie Russom may have been William B.s father. Cricket if you read this you indicated that you had the list of the children of Jessie. If anyone can help please mail the the infoto me: Curtis Russom, 650 SE 8th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL 33060. I will reimburse you for the time and trouble. I hope Mary reads this as I am so indebted to her. William B. was in Company B of the 24th Georgia Infantry. Company B was Hart County. I went to the courthouse there and they let me look through the Hart Co. Civil War pension records. I could not find anything on William B. I know that he rec'd a pension. Perhaps he applied from Franklin County. I didn't have time to search their records. I got sidetracked at the Ty "The Georgia Peach"Cobb museum in Royston. Interesting. I have not been on the web for quite some time as my wife switched to BellSouth and it is not as easy as AOL. Mary go to web site http://pahokeehighschool.reunion.comhttp://pahokeehighschool.reunion.com and you will see a picture of me. Thanks, Curtis
