After many years of confusing stories, I have found my Rust Family or at least what appears to be the right direction. Here is what appears to be my line that came from Warren Co., VA to Logan Co., KY to Montgomery Co., TN to Butler Co., KY to Hardin Co., IL to Muhlenberg Co., KY. The part of Muhlenberg County became McLean County.
My Line:
Jakie D. (Danny) Holt, Jr.
Linda Joyce Ellis Holt (1941 - 1997)
Truman H. Ellis (1916 - 1955)
Vera Willia Rust Ellis (1890 - 1923)
Jacob McNichols Rust (1842 - 1920)
Abraham W. Rust (1813 - before 1870)
Jacob Rust, Jr. (about 1789 - 1841)
Jacob Rust (about 1758 - before December 1817)
I would like to hear from others that are related.
