Hi, I'm searching for info on my ggggrandparents Joseph P RYAN, b 1818, in IN, married to Elizabeth WHITSON about 1838.Elizabeth's and Joseph's parents were both supposed to have come from KY, and earlier had lived in VA.
Joseph and Elizabeth's first child, Thomas Gunn Ryan, was b 1839, in Greencastle, Putnam Co, IN, and married Amanda Josephine Bloss, 1861, in Riley Co, KS.Other children were Athan W Ryan, b 1843; Artimissa Vashti Ryan, b 1844, in Clark Co, IN, married to William H Edelbute; Elizabeth Ryan; Mary Ryan, b 1849; Belle Ryan, b 1851; Malcomb Ryan, b 1854; and Edward Ryan.
