Could this be a relative of my grandfather, Jeremiah F. Ryan, born in County Limerick in 1858? He had a brother named Martin. Jerry immigrated to the US in the 1870s and worked in Chicago for a relative before heading west with the telegraph construction. Settled in Montana and died in 1929.
