Hi Loretta, I have had a look at your worldconnect site - you have discovered a lot more than me, so I won't bore with my info LOL Thank you for putting it all online! It's interesting that your great grandmother was a member of an Orange Lodge, because my mum mentioned something some time ago about a connection with that, but my branch of the family are all Catholic, so she wasn't sure if it was true or just folklore. I haven't been able to find him on the 1841/51/61 censuses either. I suspect he may still have been in Ireland in 1841, but he was definitely in Liverpool by 1861, so it seems odd that he doesn't appear. I can't find Louisa or either of the daughters they had at that point either, so wherever he was, they appear to be with him. Tbanks for your response, I'll let you know if I find anything new.
