I have an Edward Clarence RYMAN son of John Casper RYMAN born Dec 1 1864, Jeffersonville, Sullivan Co., NY, married to Mary Catherine STEFFES b Apr 30 1871 in Wisconsin. They had 6 children.
His parents were Melchior or Michael RYMAN b Aug 4 1835 in Gadmen, Bern, Switzerland. He married Magdalena "Lena" BOSSLY/BOSSLEY born Nov 15 1836 born in Schattenhalb, Bern Switzerland. They had 11 children.
I'm researching BOSSLEY, BOSSLY, BOSLIE emigrated from Switzerland c 1875...settling in Sullivan County, NY
Hope this helped.
Have much more info and willing to share..
