Karl Johan Lindström and his family were not from Malmö, which is in Skåne. They were from Malma in Västergötland.

"Emigranten" CD lookup:

K J Lindström, age 38, Malma
Emigrated through Gothenburg port 5 June 1891, destination Chicago.

Johanna J Lindström, age 38, Malma, with children:
Karl O, 15
Albertina, 11
Johan, 7
Emigrated through Gothenburg port 8 September 1897, destination Grand Crossing.

Malma is next to Grästorp (your "Grestof").
Nearest town is Vänersborg.
