My great grandmother was Caroline Saak Petersmeyer who was born 27 Jan 1836 at Stemmen. She came to the U.S. with her parnts Conrad and Sophia [Begemann]Saak and two siblings Albertina and Wilhelmina. Her husband, Frederick Petersmeyer was born at Langenholzhausen. They settled at Lake Co. IN and later moved to Sac County. Iowa.
