Hi Father Larry, et. al.
I am Joe Saalfeld Grandson of Frank J. who was Father Larry's cousin. Father Larry has been co-celebrant for many of my families baptisms, weddings, etc. He may have already given you all the info on our side of the family, but if not, my grandmother has some info that she got from my Grandfather's sister Cecilia.
I know my father Don visited relatives in the Cincinnati/Kentucky area back in the late 60s-- I believe he visited with a Gilbert? I could be wrong on that one, but I do believe whoever it was came out here to visit back during the 80s.
Anyway, not much help I know, but just wanted to get my $.02 in on the forum. Always good to hear from family no matter where they are from.
