George Saathoff was born 1830 probably Westersander, Hanover, Germany. He was married to Emma/Anke Kleene/Klahn. They probably immigrated to Illinois(or U.S.) in about 1866. Children probably George b 1855, Hanover, Fred b 1866 and moved to Calhoun Co, Iowa by 1900 census with mother, Lena born 1869, d by 1895 in Pocahantas Co, Iowa, and Johnah b 1872. Also probably Marie Minnie who married Johann "Henry" Jansen/Johnson in Christian Co, Il in 1885.
