Just ran across your post on the Saathoff family.
My great grandmother was Anna Saathoff and was born in Ostfriestland, Germany in 1855. I believe her father to be George Saathoff and she had a brother named Fred. Anna Married Deadrich 'Dick' Miller in Mount Olive, Macoupin County, Illinois on April 19, 1873. Do you think this George Saathoff family photo might be a connection?
