Our family is from the North of Lebanon. I don't know of these people. Marjayoun was part of Syria in the first part of the century; however, now it part of southern Lebanon (since the post WW II boundaries were set). Maybe you will have more luck researching them as Lebanese rather than as Syrians... Also congratulations to all the people from the South of Lebanon - they are now free from Israeli occupation!!!
