Ambrose is living at Digby in the 1881 cesus with Susie Wilkins. The name was spelled Sabine. Ambrose and Susie lived common law and had 11 or 12 children. I had always assumed that Joanna Taylor had died first, but perhaps he left Joanna and took up with Susie, and that is why he and Susie were never married. The second wife of Joanna's son, Joseph sabean was Jane Blanchard, married 25 April 1886.
