Thanks for all the info as I have nothing on the family concerning their N B stay. Not sure if you received the following from me: Lemuel Sabean (my grandfather) b 25 June 1880 in Nova Scotia m Lena May Sloan 27 Dec 1906 Methodist Church Windsor NS. He died 11 Oct 1954 in Holy Ghost Hosp. Cambridge Mass. Buried indigent at Mt Hope Cemetery Boston Mass. He left sometime in the 1920's and went to the States. My grandmother remained in Nova Scotia. Their children were Ira Owen (my father) b 20 July 1910 in Windsor (I believe); Viola Gladys b 4 June 1913 (still living) ; Charles William b 30 May 1914 d 6 Dec 1990 in Amherst NS; Harry Beverly b 23 Nov 1922 Windsor d 9 Sept 2000 in Pugwash NS Capt Alexander Sabean b about 1882 m Annie Marie Sloan 14 Aug 1907. He died 28 March 1966 Windsor NS. Buried Maplewood Cemetery Windsor. They had 1 son George Alexander b 22 Jan 1913 Maitland NS ( I believe) m Susan Margaret Bowman 5 Feb 1935. George d 18 April 1993 Victoria BC. Susie is still living with a daughter in BC. Lemuel and Alex both married sisters. Capt Alexander Sabean was Master on the Sambro Lightship #15 1917 to 1925; #24 1926 to 1929 and 1936 to 1938. Halifax East Lightship 1942 to 1943 which became #6 1943 to 1945 ( not sure where I got that info) there was also an article on Capt Alex Sabean in the Halifax Chronicle Herald April 19 1960. I show an Ingraham R Sabean b about 1866 m 23 Jan 1894 St Croix Annapolis Co NS to Irene Clark. This Ingraham is a brother to Delilah (or Lilaah) Sabean. Their parents were William Henry and Ruth Ann (Wilkins) Sabean. I wonder if this is the same Ingraham you show at 79 Acadia St? I wonder who Eldridge Sabean is? That name is not familiar to me at all. Does the directory show Lemuel's wife Lena May and also Alexander's wife Annie in the Listing? Thanks for the wealth of info you have sent. If you have any questions on the family I'll try to answer.
