Hi there, I am writing this from London England. John Saberton was my great great grandfather, also from the UK. He was married in 1851 and died in 1901. All I know of him is that he worked in Bristol in the early years of his life, married twice, first to Elizabeth Mary Wibrow (died 1865, two children Eva Wibrow and Mary Anne), then to Sarah Elizabeth Howard in 1866 (four children, John Howard, Ada Mary - who married my great grandfather Hector Mackenzie Monro, William Alexander, and a fourth name unknown). At some point he moved to London with his family, first to Clerkenwell, then he settled in Blackheath where he became a London City Missionary. He is buried in Shooter's Hill, Greenwich. I can only find Cambridge Sabertons but don't discount the possibility that that is where he started even though I can find no trace of him there. Does anyone know anything about this man?
