Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I've done the same thing--my husband is descended from JOHANNES SACK, b. 11 Feb 1832 to ELISABETH MARGARETHA SACK, born 18 March 1795, daughter of JOHANN PHILIPP SACK, All of Heuchelheim. He left in 1852 and came to Chicago. I have the records back, but it is through his mother whose mother was a WELLER and whose paternal grandmother was ANNA KATHRINE RINN. There is no information on his father and his mother was married to a Rupert, widowed and the son given her father's name. Are they in your line also? There is a wonderful web site with pctures of Heuchelheim. e-mail if you're interested.
