Tracing g/f:George Edward Phillip Sack; DOB:26/08/1883; Hesse,Geissen. Father:Heinrich Sack (furniture maker); Mother:Ernestine Naupel?/Naufiel?); 1 brother:Karl Sack (may have worked in the legal area; disappeared during the war years); 2 sisters: Maria & Anna (both died during the war).
GEP Sack sailed to Australia (working as a ship's engineer) in the early 1900's where he married my g/m:Emma Bertha Phalmann, DOB:19/08/1881. She (a music teacher) was from the Port of Bremen and may well have sailed on a ship of the same name. They knew each other back in Germany before making their way to Sydney and marrying on 04/07/1907.
