Hi, I am not sure if this will help, on line there are articles concerning Deborah Fox who married 1st to John Cockerill who died 1757. She then married David Collingsworth. They had a son Edmund. They were from Richmond Co Va. She died at Edmunds home in Davidson Tn. Apparently Fox was an English family and Deborah's mother was possibly Barbara or Thebia Allison, if I understood their notes correctly. Alot of the Collingsworth's were in Lee co Va. According to census records Reuben was born ca 1755. According to records I am trying to prove that I am related to James Collingsworth probably brother to Reuben,Edmund, and John Collingsworth.Property transfers 1831 from Claiborne co tn. Frances Collingsworth dau of James Collingsworth and sister of John Collingsworth. Frances also had a sister Ellen. Ellen or Frances had a daughter Elzora Collingsworth/Dobbs. She married Joshua Hamilton. Collingsworth's are listed on the militia List rev war records march 31,1781 in New River Montgomery co Va. Reuben,James,Edmund,John Collingsworth. Richmond co Va Feb 4,1750 John Collingsworth married Hannah White. Bond Edmund Collingsworth. Apparently John and James lived near Nashville tn. John and part of his family were killed by indians Feb 17,1792. John, his wife and a daughter near nashville tn. In 1746 Richmond va rent rolls Lunenburg Parish, Edmund Collingsworth. I don't know if this helps.
