Andrew, The local gentry who christened their sone Sackville was this Sackville Turner? who was Assist Warden at Sackville College in 1628? Was the Mano house of which you wrote Tablehurst? I have lots of info on this house and my connection with the Turner family who lived their. Incidently the Sackville Turner was linked to Sir Richard Sackvill of Buckhurst m to Winifred who was daughter of Sir John Bridges knt.
