Lady Renee Pelagie de Montreuil was b.DEC 3 1741 in Paris. She d.JUL 7 1810. She was the eldest daughter of President Claude-Rene de Montreuil and his wife, Marie-Madeline Masson de Plissay. Marie-Madeline would later become her son-in-law the Marquis de Sade's most vigilant adversary. After Renee, two more daughter were born:

(1) Lady Anne-Prospere de Launay, who associated with her brother-in-law, the Marquis de Sade. She died May 13 1781.

(2) Francoise-Pelagie, born October 12, 1760. She m.Marquis de Wavrin.

From her marriage to Donatien Alphonse Francois de Sade (THE Marquis de Sade) Renee had issue:

(a) Louis Marie de Sade, born August 27th, 1767. Died JUN 9 1809.

(b) Donatien Claude Armand, Chevalier de Sade, born 1769. He m.SEP 15 1808 to his cousin, Louise-Gabrielle-Laure de Sade.

(c) Madeleine Laure, born 1771.

I know nothing further about this family, but would like to.
