The 1840 Census also has Sally Dial head of family bet 50-60.James husband is missing; one male 10-15 that would be son Pleasant and one male 15-20 that would be son James Doyle who was born 1823 and who along with William Saffell and his sister Sarah Jane and mother Sarah Sally Raper Dial went to Ark bet fall and winter of 1851 and spring of 1852. They were in Ark by 14 Jun 1852 when Sarah applied for bounty land due husband James for service war 1812. James died in Aug of 1851.1850 census of Bradley Co. TN lists William Saffell age 37 Jane age 32 and his family of children. Sarah Dial age 62 is living with them. The 1860 census Lawrence Co. Ark lists William 46 Jane 42 and family and Sarah Doil age 70 b Nc is living with them again. What I am wondering about do you have any information on any land that William Saffell might have owned or any other information you think I might be interested in. I am working on the Doyle Dial line Thanks John Newman
