I am searching for the descendants of Jessie Safford who married Charles Lincoln Edwards. Jessie's father was referred to in Charles L.'s biography as being a doctor in WVA. Charles held a Phd in biology so it is possible that Jessie's father may have also been associated with a university.

1. Jessie Safford (Dr.Safford) was born 1862 in Virginia. She married Charles Lincoln Edwards 5 June 1889, son of John Edwards and Nancy Stockton. He was born 8 December 1863 in Oquawka, Illinois, and died 1937.
