From the Dawson, Minnesota *Sentinel* dated 17 July 1896: Miss Estella E. Safford of this place and Rev. C. J. St. Hill, pastor of the Methodist church of Mora, Kanabec county, were married last evening at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs. W. A. Laraway of this village. The ceremony was performed in the presence of a few friends, Rev. W. A. Shannon, presiding elder of the Duluth district, officiating. The bride's attire was a lovely white silk, elegant, and in splendid taste. After the ceremony a delicious lunch was served. The happy couple left this morning for their home, bearing with them the good wishes of a large circle of friends for their future happiness. ___________________________________________________________ Note: Mrs. W. A. Laraway's maiden name was Louisa Safford. The initial "W" stands for "Warren."
