Clipping from an unidentified Chillicothe, Ohio newspaper June 1904. I have omitted many paragraphs of bridal detail. If anyone wants a copy of the full article, email me with your snail mail address.

STAATS - SAFFORD

Social interest centered in the nuptial event of Wednesday, when Henry Newman STAATS of Cleveland and Miss Louise SAFFORD, daughter of the late Judge W. E. SAFFORD [this is probably a typo and should be W. H. SAFFORD for William Harrison b. 1821], were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. . .

Mrs. Homer SAFFORD was radiant in her wedding gown. . .The bride's mother was distingue in black grenadine. . .

The guests from abroad were Mr. and Mrs. GRIGGS, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. WADE, Mrs. Virginia P. MARTIN, Rev. and Mrs. T. S. MCWILLIAMS, Mr. and Mrs. HOGSETT, Mrs. HALL, and Miss Julia and Master Harry STAATS, Mr. PRICE and Miss Clara WADE, all of Cleveland; Miss Anne SAFFORD and Lt. W. E. SAFFORD of Washington DC; Hon. and Mrs. L. T. NEAL of Columbus and Miss Edith SPOFFORD of Washington DC. . .

Those seated [with] the bride and groom were Mr. and Mrs. Homer SAFFORD, W. E. SAFFORD and his fiancee Miss Clara WADE of Cleveland, Dr. and Mrs. T. S. MCWILLIAMS of Cleveland, Miss Anne SAFFORD of Washington DC, Miss Virginia NYE, Miss Bessie CARLISLE and Mr. PRICE of Cleveland.

The bride and groom. . .will take up their residence in Cleveland. . .
