Susan Safford bn 1805 MA
Mary bn 1830 NY
Henry bn 1833 NY
Charles bn 1837 NY
Elizabeth bn 1842 NY

all in Phelps Ontario NY
Mary Safford bn 1803 CT
Laura bn 1827 NY
Sarah bn 1839 NY
all in Seneca Ontario NY
My goal here is to find the family of my gr gr grandmother Sarah Safford who married Gilbert Luther. They lived in McGregor IA in 1860. In trying to find her family I found Charles Safford living in McGregor in 1860 also. Prior to this he lived in Moundville Marquette WI with his family and in Phelps Ontario NY.
Gilbert's parents both died in 1849 and his uncle lived in Portage WI in 1860 which is 10 miles away from Moundville and also where according to Sarah's obit she married Gilbert.
I am trying to figure out if the above Sarah in Seneca is mine. I welcome any corrections, additions, comments. Anything would help. Thanks Barbara
