Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.
I just posted another Safford message to Gary Gleed.
In it I have explained a little more about John and Abigail.
Which line are you descended from? There are two John Saffords, one married Hannah Newman and later Dorothy, the other married Abigail.
Also, The Ohio Valley Saffords while concentrating on the John/Hannah line does mention in various places that there were definitely two John Saffords, one moving to Preston, CT, the other to Norwich, CT.
Depending on which line, the Sarah Robinson genealogy (John/Abigail), while not 100% correct is good.
I have not been researching much for quite awhile, however about 3-4 yearas back there was a lot of information on the various forums, including Ancestry.com, about the Saffords and there were quite a few researchers that were descended from John/Hannah.
If you need anything more and I can help, I will do so gladly.
