Thanks, Carol. The doctor may have been Moses Victor Safford (1867-1947), M.D., at one time of Kittery, Maine, who practiced at some point in Boston. He may have retired to Rhode Island. I have posted information about Moses and his younger brother, Edward Hart Safford, an attorney, in this forum.
