Yes I have a good deal of detail. I missed Lewis because his given name was Zacharia Lewis B. Said, b. Feb 1862, Jackson Co., IA.
He married Nancy J. Romanof (b. Jan 1865.)

I have Alva Said marrying Ethel B. Shumaker, with only one child named, Lendis Sylvester Said.

Ethel was your grandmother; then is Alva Said your grandfather, or was she married a second time?

Alva R. Said is (was) my mother's Third Cousin Once Removed.

I'm trying to get back to normal after Easter. So didn't give much detail here. Tell me how much detail you want.

One item to note is that if you have Said ancestry in this line, you're related to Astronomer Royal Sir Edmund Halley of 'Halley Comet' fame.

'cousin?' Myke
