Hello Myke and Terry,
How about a fresh voice in this exchange? Thomas Jefferson Said and Pheobe Conklin are my 2nd great-grandparents. Their daughter, Mary Lucretia, died the day after giving birth to my grandmother, Verna Lucretia, her 11th child. I have his parents as Thomas Said and Anna Harris, as you have stated. And, her parents as William Conklin and Esther Ackley. Thomas' parents as William Said and Susannah Halley. Anna's parents as Thomas Harris and Mary ??. Susannah's parents as James Halley and Elizabeth Simpson. My date and place info is very sketchy past T.J. and Pheobe. It's mostly from my grandmother. My info on them is more complete, you added her middle name and their marriage place. I also have some handed-down information compiled by a professional. It is some of the info that I haven't gotten around to putting into my Family Tree Maker, yet. As it is currently 2 a.m., I'm not going to attempt to get into any more detail. I just happened across this forum as I was looking for another one. But, it sounds like we each may have info that the others might like to see. I know I'd love to extend my lines out, especially out to Sir Edmond. Looking forward to talking further, your new-found cousin, Mike
