I found your message very interesting. I have a great-grandmother whose name is phonetically the same - Sadzevic (Russian-type spelling) or Sadziewicz (Polish spelling). Vy. unusual name. Came to US supposedly from Lithuania (near Vilna) of what I thought were Polish parents (Karrol Sadzevic & Marianna Paskiweicz). Her name was Francizka (Frances). She married a Jacob Antoniewicz in Waltham, MA in 1915 and supposedly had sisters. Like I said, she was supposedly Polish or at least Lithuanian, but in her wedding picture she looks like a Gypsy (dark hair, dark around the eyes, round face), and Vilna was a melting pot, so maybe she was Hungarian? I've never been able to find her family. My grandma thinks some of her family settled in PA, but her parents might've returned to Lithuania when Frances died in the Great Flu Epidemic of 1918 in MA. Did Dora have any siblings? cousins? Let me know if any connections. Julie
