Have several Juan Salazar's in family, do you have a middle name or names? Priests used to give all newly baptised children the first name of a saint. Many are named, juan, Jose, Angel, Jesus, etc. Girls are mostly maria.. my family in 1500 to mid 1700 caame thru central Mexico, in 1600 were in the Santa Fe, Albuquerque, & north central part of NM.. Espanola valley, some in Taos, etc. I have a Juan de salazar, juan eusevio, juan francisco, juan estevan francisco, juan pedro, juan bauptista, juan bernardo, jose bernardo... dates of birth are from 1600 to mid 1800...
