Several years ago we felt very deeply that we had located at a catholic church yard in and about the area you describe some of the names listed in my genealogy. however, we have listed a Don Juan de Salazar who was to my knowledge a 2nd son to a Conte or Baron de Salazar. mY Capitan Juan de Salazar married A countess Margarita de Frenoila in the area around auvergne (france??)Frenoila is french or italian--- their son a Baron de St Just Hector Enrique married Barroness Ellena de Chastelux (french) thier child 2nd baron de St juste married Luisa de La Croix (french)----- who then had our ancestor who became the conquestidor who accompanied Coronado & Onate. Because Of the french names I would say that you are one of my missing links---town of salazar--Pyrennes---etc. But the heraldry shield I have does not contain any stars that I can distuingish... the poor quality picture appears to be small squares or rectangles...
