Looking for some help for my daughters on their paternal side....does anyone know about a Salazar family from southern Colorado and/or Northern New Mexico who were Hopi?
The farthest back I know (not far) are Pedro Salazar, who married Elizabeth McIntosh of Mexico (her father was a diplomat from Scotland). Children born circa 1920s: Pedro (Pete), Jimmie (d in WW II). Julia, Phyllis (m.1) Ward, 2)Ortiz) and Ernestine (m.Ward)
The family moved to Denver, but I really dont know when---sometime before 1940, I believe.
